Yeah I think you are mixing computer animation with paintings... I'd like to see how that Iman dude would animate shit with his paintings.

Yeah it's a great art work, but the subject here is computer animation not painting.

The PS4 would be capable off running a game with those kind of graphics as for current gen console tech, I'm not sure.

The PS4 is a pussy, unless I read the wrong specs somewhere. Claiming it's as high level as today's best gaming computers when it's really go the specs of a medium leveled gaming computer from 5 years ago made me lose some respect for them.

As for the animation, I did notice some fallacies in it but obviously they aren't going to achieve absolute perfection for quite some time. I do have to say though that this takes the cake as far as realistic animations go. I've never seen better, and probably won't for a long time to come. I hope when we make the shift from console gaming to virtual reality, the graphics look this realistic, or at least close to it.

As for those paintings, the first 2 are pretty good, but I have paintings in my house that look more real than the rest of those.

A console will probably never be able to compete with computers but for a console, the PS4 is a beast!

Rendering realistic looking animated images is good enough at present but animators just cant make realistic videos out of them, theres just too much small movements in reality, and it will take like a very long time to make all those little movements.

For the RAM, the PS4 is 8 times more powerful than the PS3.

I guess considering it's a console, everything is dedicated to one specific thing, which means it doesn't need to be as powerful.. but it's still using a 32-bit processor, and that bugs me.
