icon packager spoiled my system

i tried icon packager nothing worked so i tried to roll back but unfortunately it didnt do so ,instead it changed all my icons to default program icon,,i need back all icon help me pls.


deletin iconcache.db didnt work

When you post a problem give more info, for example here, what is your OS, i guess is win7,
well you could use this  icon pack installer. It just installs win7 default icons.

Changes like that require reeboot(reestart) to take effect.

iam using windows 7 64 bit .
i dont know anything about this icon packager ,i just tried, for the first time itself i dont like it, so i selected default icons in the same program ,which changed all icon to default program....
and iam using laptop so i usually dont shut down i just hibernate it....after i have installed this program i think only once i did shut down to do system restore ,but that also didnt work for me.....
if we shut down frequently will it return back????


and i tried sfc /scan also it didnt work

no. And Your os needs to be rebooted(restarted) after you make change to its system to let it take effect. So dont just leve your poor laptop in standby mode.

For you icon problem,
use linux insted of win shit. Not an option?

Then You should search for windows default theam (theam as an exe file, not the theam files in the display management) that has all the default icons of win 7 and install it. then restart your laptop and youll get your default icons.

If that doesnt work then i suggest you set up a fresh  new win 7.
Dont want to do that? Say bye bye to who shit and welcome linux to your laptop.
