RAM pin number

A customer wants me to upgrade the RAM in his somewhat old computer that runs on XP. I'd rather ask now than find out the hard way, how do I tell how many pins should be on the RAM I order?

Some hardware lookup tool.
Hwinfo or that kinda stuff.

Itll tell the type which will cor. with a number of pins.

Or pull out a stick of his and check it, or if it's at a remote location have him check it for you if possible. I've never been good with hardware unless I can see it tbh with you lol

You can determine the type of RAM by looking at cutouts on the RAM.
