« on: September 28, 2012, 11:19:24 PM »
O'Reilly School of Technology's Trish Gray moderates a lively debate between OST certificate instructors and authors Peter Scott and Steve Holden as they debate 'Perl vs. Python.'

Agreed, the Python guy sounds much happier and aren't taking it as serious as the Perl guy. I would always go for Python, but since i haven't tried Perl i cant say anything about it.

^^This.

I guess I'm biased though. But python seems more fun, easy, useful. Especially with all the attention it gets from really really big names in industry. I feel I could do more with python, not only that but find more documentation on it. I've never scrapped the internet for pearl, but python being so easy; everyone and their grandma is using it and putting on the web what they have done.
