Best software / software combo for Alfa wifi device

Anyone know what the best software combination would be for using with Alfa wifi long-range USB device? Specifically the AWUS036H. I'm wanting to just do some general wifi analysis.

Moved to hardware.
I am not sure what you really need here. Do you need drivers or software to scan the networks?
Not sure about drivers, but did you try aircrack-ng suite?

Aircrack can do everything you want(more or less). Most other tools are based on the various aircrack tools anyway.
