Discussion: Hacking Multiplayer Games
« on: March 09, 2014, 01:40:42 PM »
Hello EZ

What is your opinion on hacking online video games? Most of the game ''hackers'' you meet are just
idiots who dont even deserve to be called skids because they are using a program downloaded from
youtube with a complementary DarkComet stub brought to them by the generosity of some 12 year old kid
who had enough brains to follow a tut on HackForums

To me hacking a video game is to be put simply. Lame and pointless. For me it is not the destination but the journey that matters. Yes i could make an aimbot that makes my KDP the best of the best however that dose not
mean for a second that i am anything special or have any super skills. Yes i have never lost a match but so what? It wasn't me playing and thus how can i feel any pride over that?

So tell me, what is your opinion on hacking multiplayer games?

Downloading and using programs is not hacking and is not cool at all.
But if you actually put work into writing a program that is able to do all that stuff, it is great. Doesn't mean you have to use it. I wouldn't like others to spoil the game as well. Doing stuff, just because it is a challenge, is great.
Using these programs isn't a challenge at all.

I'm not going to lie, I cheated all the time in star craft and cs1.6 but now I prefer mods, changing sprites and textures is a lot more fun and doesn't do any harm. But cs1.6 was a different story xD. They're still players out there and they still use aimbots. Starcraft, infinate minerals was nice xD

lol all the "hackers" back in the day on SC is what got me to stop playing it. As far as 1.6 goes that was the nice thing about the "old" aimbots/triggerbots/walls...they were so damn easy to detect by eye. Then again now you have automated scripts that can ban most if not all aimbots on "sight" alone. Still at least i can say all the times/servers i got permed from in 1.6 for aimbotting...was skill :P

Anyway to me i dont get the "fun" angle of cheating in a game, then again i tend to be rather awesome on my own so have never seen the need to cheat to win. however that being said as much as i hate bot farms/dupes etc i at least can understand that people need to eat. I just dont get people that destroy a game with say a dupe/aimbot that they DONT profit off of. To me it just takes out any sense of achievement when done illegitimately.

Lol @ DeepCopy

I think messing around with a game is fun.  It's like the infected lobbies we all used to get in COD4 or MW2, you get fuckin bored of the same shit over and over so you find grab some infection mods and then you pretty much have a new game.  You get to jump on top of buildings and stuff and mess around with your friends.  I remember plenty of awesome michael meyers lobbies when we all used to have super jump and stuff like that.
