While I may not have high hopes for the US no matter who gets elected, I don't think it's fair to judge them on a silly stupid things they said. Everyone makes mistakes here and there, and just because they are presidential candidates every little thing they do is way over analyzed. And honestly, if someone can run a country well I don't give a fuck whether they know anything about planes. This statement really doesn't show anything about his qualifications or how he would do if he was elected.

No no no,

This has nothing to do with simple mistakes.
Someone who is about to run a country with too many soldiers and a strange military agenda should have one thing at least imo.
That something is a brain.
That bush figure for example, I mean what the fuck, how the hell is it possible so many ppl vote for someone like that...
Can someone expain this please?

Over analyzed, yeah what do you expect.
Science and knowledge should be the first priority, not money.
Obviously inteligence has no role here.

Think what you want, but Romney is a self made millionaire.  He didn't that money by being stupid.  He worked for it.

Obama on the other hand.....Has he EVER had a real job?

Not trying to disrespect you or fight with you sir but I would very much like to see some sort of evidence to the latter of those two statements. John Boehner claims Obama has never had a real job. John Boehner is very accomplished at "talking shit" about Obama. He has made false claims about other things in the past.

http://www.factcheck.org/2011/11/boehners-big-stretch-on-small-business/

Also, imo almost every time a politician is a self-made millionaire it was due to some sort of exploitation on their part.

EDIT: Don't get me wrong I'm not for Obama either. I just think there is alot of extraordinarily bullshit claims made about him by people like Boehner.

@ proxx - To be fair that really sounds like a joke someone made up about him. I'm sure he knows that airplanes don't have opening windows. Although I did like it when he said that he likes Michigan because the trees are the right height. (No Joke!)

  • For the Romney stuff, check Wikipedia or biography.com.   Entries are too lengthy to post here.  I'd put more weight on the biography.com articles.
For the record:  I don't particularly like either one of these guys, but Romney seems to be more qualified to get the US financial house in order.

Hmm, it appears you are right. Although it is not as though he as done nothing with his life. Not that I care. I don't like either option for president either. Thanks for providing sources, and yeah, I'm sure it was a joke someone made up.

These guys are the same make and model... We just get to choose the color. In the end it makes no difference since they both serve the same masters. Elections have been reduced to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

So true. I like your reference to the Titanic. Sad, but undeniable. I wonder when we will hit rock bottom, and how/if we will ever recover as a country.
