Socially Encrypted - design feedback, recruiting

Right now I'm in the process of building a small community, Socially Encrypted.

I want to make a community of compact size, with people who *know* each other, big communities (HF) are often obsessed with rep/l33t/etc, and I don't think that it's the right spirit.


Anyway I want to ask you a few things:

1. What does look better? Old design http://inventati.org/sociallyenc/ or current design http://sociallyencrypted.org/?
2. If you do social engineering/hacking/anything related to computers and want to be part of the team, come say hi PM me or come on #se on irc.tddirc.net
3. If you have a website with similar topics, want to exchange links?

Uhm... I like the current theme.
On the side note, you do understand that what you want is kinda really hard to achieve, unless you have a huge-ass positive rep on the webs, or know lots of people that know their stuff to begin with, I don't think it will fly, or fly really low.
Don't take this comment seriously though, it's just my opinion based on what I have seen during last years.

Exactly. Even when your site is public, it is hard to get people who know their stuff without a great reputation and/or a lot of idiots.

And i don't like any of the themes...

(first one), only the quality sucks,   and are you sure you want to tell at the logo that you are blackhats?.

Indeed. Bad-boy or l33t stuff will only attract idiots. I'd suggest to keep it neutral, yet technonerd style.

That was actually some really good feedback, thanks Will make the theme more neutral.
I seriously feel the project has potential, will work more on that.
