Hoping to get pointed in the right direction

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I need a step by step guide of instructions and any software needed to learn to mod apk's. Ive tried looking on google and have not found what I am looking for. Interested in learning this and coding. Thanks in advance

I think I know your issue. I was doing some research on APK modification and I don't think it's as straight forward as simple modification as if it was some sort of text document.

I got together the most 1337 gang of haxors I could find and we systematically scoured the web, launched mass probe spiders and solicited a huge sweep of any publicly available servers we could find.

Our results concluded that the very first link on Google is exactly what you are looking for.

i watched some of the videos on google and I guess they helped a little but didnt give me what I was looking for. Ive obviously never done any of this before and am looking to learn hacking/modding/coding. I have a lot of time on my hands and want to learn. I know basic html and thats about it.

However having that said, you doing it WRONG. You say you only know HTML, then how the fuck are you going to debug Java bytecode and follow undexed Smali representation, if you don't even know what it means. It's not like opening notepad and changing text around, kid, but that is whole different question.

thanks I have been pointed in the right direction. I am working on learning and I picked here to start. Recently retired and looking to keep my mind occupied and do some new things.
