I can confirm that this works as I've done it myself with that kind of method. It is also possible to increase RAM through your SD card as it says in the post but I've heard it decreases SD card life because of the constant writing/reading so it's best to avoid that.

Did some research and yeah it has memory ware which will decrease sd life if it is constant or often read/write. Thanks for point that out for me.
