Ok, so I had to retire my old notebook (due to water damage) but that's what had my back track on it. So I thought "No big deal, I'll just boot it on a usb for my other two comps."
I was wrong. For my mac, when I go through ubootin, i Get the attached pictures. And for my netbook it flashes for a bit then I get stuck in a text screen. Help?

Well, why don't you just use BackTrack along side Windows on a PC and not a Mac?

You can always sell your Mac and get a better bang-for-the-buck "PC".

Do you mean its stuck on the command prompt?


if so, type "startx" to boot into the GUI.

I used to use a tool call bootcamp to load linux onto the powermacs at my highschool, I'm sure if you can find it, it should still work.

I'm not a mac user either, but I had a friend who worked for Apple. He used bootcamp as well. I do know that mac has hardware specific things and is locked down at the hardware level, which is why you don't really see OSX in VM.
