Insane (stylized as 1nsane) is an off-road racing game by Invictus and distributed by Codemasters. It contains no plot and focuses heavily on multiplayer.
While in development, it had been provisionally titled Off The Road.
Levels are set in real world locations, scattered throughout North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. The actual design, however, is fictitious.

This is surely one of THE best off-road racing games ever created. With great car crash physics (at that time, I guess there are better ones now...). Simple, light and a great game to play. I spent many hours playing it... there is no story, just a tournament and quick race and some other stuff.
If you haven't tried it yet, I suggest you do that right now.
