how do i change a ESN number for a verizon phone?

I've got a Verizon HTC Incredible that I basically only use for a flash light now I would like to have more use for it. So I've been wondering if its possible to change the ESN that identify's a phone.

its possible to change basicly all data on a phone.
have you checked google?

esn is same as imei nummer or?
