"Grand Theft Auto 5" mini-review
« on: September 21, 2013, 12:07:40 PM »
Grand Theft Auto V is a 2013 open world action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on 17 September 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. It is the fifteenth title in the Grand Theft Auto series, and the first main entry since Grand Theft Auto IV was released in 2008. As one of the last titles to release exclusively during the seventh generation of video game consoles, Grand Theft Auto V was highly anticipated preceding its release.

This is one of the best titles Rockstar Games has ever released. We all like the fact that you have a choice to wander around without having to do the missions and all that shit. This time we got more characters with different storylines, and the animations and everything else is way better than in the IV version, so are the graphics - sometimes I wonder during the cutscenes if I'm watching a movie or actual game graphics. Let's not talk about the RAGE engine, punching a sucka in the face or crushing a nigga on the street makes me want to ejaculate.

Do you got a cool story you would like to share bro?

I think this game has been over hyped. From marketing to fanboys creaming them selves and snorting crushed up GTA disks.

Let me know when Dark Souls 2 is out.

Even if you think the game has been overhyped, the open world is really impressive especially considering this is running on a PS3 or 360.  You have to admit that.

Still have yet to play the majority of GTA V, but I can honestly say the immersion, attention to detail and the HUGE world have already placed it on a higher rank (for me) than either GTA III or San Andreas.

I read somewhere that GTA5 cost about 265 million to develop next to the leading Pirates Of The Caribbean at 300 million. It has already made all the money back in pre-orders too.I just thought that was kind of insane.

I'll admit the map is big and graphics are pretty, but I was never really a big fan of GTA.

Honestly, I'm VERY satisfied with this game. Sure they didn't do too much different than GTAIV, but what they did do was effective and it seems like they really fine-tuned the game with this one. I remember GTA IV they tried to show off "oh you can do this and that" in the missions, but you'd only use it for that mission, and there was no outside purpose for it. In this one it seems that the skills actually prove to be a bit useful.
