I absolutely love wireshark! nice information you gave there! but if someone does want a facebook password then run SSLstrip. I'm sure you've heard of it but just enable port fowarding and set up iptables and arpspoof your victim and use sslstrip to remove most SSL. I don't think this program works on gmail but it works nice on everything else! i've tested it on bank websites, paypal, ebay and facebook. I'm sure you can google how to successfully run sslstrip if you don't know how or you can message me and I'll give you the steps! Again man, nice post on this Wireshark. +1 (:

Hey, when I use the msfconsole and I use an exploit and it requires a srvhost, I set the srvhost to my local IP and the exploit runs fine.. it starts the server and gives me the malicious URL. I then run the multi/handler and set up the stuff and get 2 errors saying failed to bind to host, and something about how it's already in use. any help?

well after trying different things people said to do I ran a reboot and typed in my username and password and startx and bam.. black screen for about 10 minutes until I get an error.. anyway to just reset backtrack as if I just installed it

I'm using backtrack 5 r3. I tried compact wireless drivers. It picks up internet but backtrack isnt detecting its chipset and it sometimes disconnects for no reason and then won't pick up any networks and my router is literally about 8 feet away into the next room

fixed it,

solution was simple, I just ran sudo apt-get remove wireshark and then sudo apt-get install wireshark

works like a charm now, maybe when I updated I deleted a file on accident or something

if you have to ask if something is illegal, it probably is (: do it anyways. People shouldn't have to pay for movies or music. If it wasn't for the fans the artists and actors would be absolutely nothing. fuck the media
