General discussion / Copy of Windows 7?
« on: December 11, 2015, 10:09:45 PM »
Hey guys.

I was curious if anyone could point me in the direction of a copy of Win7. I'm looking specifically for a build that can function with VMWare. I really hate getting on here and asking for things, but I've scoured all the toreent sites I know of and come up with a lack of seeds.

All help is appreciated and thanks.

Have any of you heard of this game?

It's a free to play browser game (It's available through Steam as well for ~5$) that is basically a computer version of Werewolf. It's a hell of a lot of fun if you're trying to kill time.

If you decide to play it and want someone to play with my name is RuneWolf. If anyone else is looking for someone to play with I encourage you to post your name here so we can all get together. EZ on ToS would be amazing.

Also the devs claim the client can't be hacked if someone out there is bored and looking for a challenge.

Here are links to the game and the rules of Werewolf:

I took my handle from an old cold war era russian spy. I hardly ever use it but I feel like it would be as fitting a name as possible for a place like EZ.

General discussion / Re: Plz review "Learn C the hard way"
« on: November 11, 2015, 04:51:56 AM »
The book I learned off of was "Programming in C" by K&R. It is considered the, "C bible" by some and even though it is 30+ years old, it still holds up really well.

From what I've managed to understand "Programming in C" by K&R was trumped by the ANSI standards. I haven't actually read it my self but it could be a good place to start. I used 'Learn C The Hard Way' and it was really easy to understand and pick up. I highly recommend it if you want to learn C quickly.
