Hello everyone, just came across this site and found a lot of useful information. I'm currently going to school for programming/networking and was looking for more knowledge than what they teach in classes. I'm not looking to use hacking as a tool to attack people, I just want to learn it because I'm interested in loopholes and ways around security.


Besides learning the languages, what are things you would recommend for a beginner trying to learn this stuff? What books and/or websites would you recommend for me just getting started?


Anyway, I'm off to read as many topics as I can to start learning stuff. In the short time I've spent today I've already learned to bypass school internet security.
