@noncetonic :Exactly.
The password is 12+ in length and my computer has some problem with john and virtualbox (I was just experimenting :P )

Shoulder surfing results : The password starts with "Windows" (without quotes and yeh first W is capital)followed by a 5 digit numerical -_-

http://www.tutorialspoint.com/python/python_pdf_version.htm : Python tutorial
After learning python or for the same process you can visit this page : http://www.codecademy.com/
It offers an online stimulator for python , ruby etc..

http://linuxcommand.org/ : For linux terminal Commands
http://linuxtutorial.todolistme.net/ : Same as above

I'm really sad the way experienced programmers talk with noobs out there. :'-(
But still this was just a work of google took less than 5 min for me
@VERYinterested Google is a hackers best friend. Before asking just google it first.
And believe me instead of being a script kiddie and using applications that someone else made making your own stuff gives you much more possibilities.

Best of luck in learning python .I would suggest that you take a course on c++ after this it is an awesome language believe me :* .

Hacking and Security / Windows hacking question
« on: March 24, 2014, 01:25:25 PM »
Hi everyone .

Im new to programming and hacking.
Ive been researching in john the ripper password cracking. I need some help in this:

Suppose I wanna crack my own laptop locally "without any access to it" (Physical access is there of course :P ). I need to use password hints given in it.

Can i make my own wordlist referring to the hint and implement using john the ripper. If yes how.

Now this is the probably the stupidest question but one of the biggest problems im facing 8) :

How do i implement my exploits from a mac to windows pc "WITHOUT HAVING ANY ACCESS TO IT" Ive read many articles on port forwarding etcetc but nuthin much seems to help me.

(Would love if someone could explain it based on john  :-* )
