Yes they would!

1. They can see that the activity came from McDonald's.
2. There are cameras on McDondald's so you're busted.

I read about an idiot who was doing blackhat shit from McD. They busted him since he used his credit card to buy food in the restaurant.

Lol, and thanks for the answer.

Anonymity and Privacy / Traking down when using ...

I had a question, If I were to use a laptop and using free wi-fi, for example Mac Donals', etc.
Obviously doing illegal hacktivism,  would they be able to track me down easily? and how much time would it take?

-I do not plan to do it, it's just a question lol.

First post fixed because it's insulting to our intelligence.

EDIT: If you knew what he meant by that then you never would have made this thread in the first place.

I am sorry, that is not what I meant to do, and when I said that I understood what he meant, was because some time after creating the post I thought to my self what if I would create it, so I researched a bit, and I might do it.
Thanks anyway

Oke well yeah, uhm.
If you want to use public proxies to offer any sort of privacy you will have to chain them.
A -> B -> C -> D
A does know B but does not  know C and D etc.

This principle and especially cross border can help you with certain tasks.
As I probably mentioned more often on the board the legal system can be your friend.
There are a lot countries out there that don't exchange data without very strong legal grounds, this costs a lot of money.
Or some don't do it anyway.

Be aware that the biggest databases of proxies are probably owned by parties like google, microsoft and some other big guys around there.
Chaining proxies does defeat this problem to some extend but the only proxies that can are not known as proxy are likely the ones you scan yourself.
Chaining is also likely to result in a very poor perfomance with high package loss and a massive latency, that you have to work with.

Proxies are classified in certain levels, be it transparancy , SSL or socks etc, look that up and read about it.

Probably the best proxies out there are the ones you create yourself (go figure what that means, thats all I am gonna say.)

Thanks for the answer, and yes I do know what you mean by that.

You really don't have to do, as long as 1 line of text gives a clear idea.

Ok, in some forums that I was in the past they used to delete my posts because they didn't have much text/images
