Title: [Q] Finding IP from xbox live account?

How can you? Can you? My friends house was broken into and they stole his xbox. The person is online. I told him to contact Microsoft, but idk if that would do anything. Any way to find their IP?

Call xBox support and explain the situation, and the gamer tag and such.
They'll trace it.

Your friend's house was stolen, first thing to do naturally is to inform the police, and never touch anything in the house until they finished taking fingerprints. Also, how did you know he's online?

Pffft, where I'm living the house got robbed for a tv and an xbox. The police told us that that kind of thing happens just about every night and there's nothing they can do.

Now, if we were rich people I'm sure it would be a different story.

They called the police. And you can see when your friends are online
