I am more than sure that the end of the world will come one day but not in 21/12 .
Mayans did not prophesy that the world would end on December 21,there are many dates recorded on Mayan calendars which are well beyond 21/12.
The 2012 date was only found on a single Mayan inscription.Charlatans who created the 2012 Hoax are the same who made money from the Planet-X hoax (did we died on May 13, 2003). They use the story to scare people, then they sell books on how to survive. They make lots of money from this $hit.

If they(Mayans) haven't made the calender after 21-Dec-2012, this doesn't mean the world is going to end.

Probably that is what happened to the Mayans too,they believed in a similar "prophecy" and killed one each other,that is why their "great" civilization vanished .
I won't be surprised if i hear on the news the day after the 21/12 that some fools committed mass suicide or something similar.

I don't this is going to be the end of the world. There are a several reasons why I don't think so.
1. They have found more calendars, which goes further than 21. December.
2. NASA has made a video where they are proving some of the theories wrong.

The world will not end and that is it, god damn it.
If the world ought to end, the star (object) that were to exterminate us would be very much visible at this point, with 2 days left... if it isn't visible now and if there is an object flying towards us -- it's no threat and most likely just a meteor which will burn to a pebble in atmosphere anyway.

This is a good opportunity for those who want to wreck chaos globally. They can use this end of the world hype to "fake" some big occurence, like an alien invasion (using holograms or something). Also staged flase flag events are on the table.

Hi all, just woke up and realized that the world is still turning. Looked outside the window and everything looks like it does yesterday. Can't wait to get outside to see if all people turned into mutant zombies :). Guess they haven't. Seems you can't count on anything these days not even these prophecies. Had high hopes that I don't need to go to work today but well... guess I need to.

This is absurd. The Mayan prophecy never said the world would end to begin with. They only said that life as we know it will change. That also is probably a misinterpretation, it's possible that all they meant was that its the end of and era...or epoch
We've just entered the age of Aquarius my friends.
Of course...they exact time in which that happens is also debateable. According to the mayans that change happens today. Or yesterday for some.

yeah and life is changing. i read on nasa.gov/2012 that the Mayans calender is just a long one and ends on the 21st of December. Ours ends on the 31st. I dont understand why this was made a big fuss of :P

Trust me Kulver, as long as there are people on this world, there will be ones who love to come up with these stories. Some people have a hobby of making conspiracy or end of the world apocalypse theories.
