That could drain phone battery and there would be noticeable drop in performance. The user probably know that sth wrong with there phone.

No it won't...
try reading battery usage stats of a.smartphone

You'll know. My phone battery usage is 79 percent display...

My phone only use 2 percent of its battery for display, 48 for cell standby, 46 for phone idle. And when i take a lot of picture my battery would drop a lot, and when there are process in the background the phone performance will sure to be dropped.

i swear my evo 3d rocks but so does every Android... The only thing that does not work is the battery :(
