Title: [Fedora] IRC server?
Post by: Ragehottie on June 15, 2012, 04:06:36 AM
I am working on something... and I need a irc server. I was just going to setup a channel on someones, but I just need an extremely lightweight irc server to code with. No verifying nicknames or anything like that. Basically straight up chat. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am running Fedora 16.

http://www.unrealircd.com/ is what we are running.

If you don't install services there won't be any channels or nicks registration.

Old but good tutorial I wrote: http://evilzone.org/satan911/Tutorial.txt
