Title: looking to learn c++ ?
Post by: jackpot on January 07, 2016, 02:27:55 PM
http://www.learncpp.com/ (http://www.learncpp.com/)

sooo..hey i found this website for learning c++, i'am currently using it and it caught my eye because it's pretty thorough, it does not just tell you what to do and how to do it, it comes with a whole set of tips and hints and the fact it uses both codeblocks(MinGW) and visual studio makes it even better .

just thought to share this for any new learners out there. ;) ;) :P 8)

Yes a very popular website for learning C++. I also recommend a website called http://www.tutorialspoint.com/ this goes great in line with the website you use as well. It is better to have more than one source. Happy learning!

And then, when you gain some skills, I recommend training on https://codefights.com/home (https://codefights.com/home). Exercises in many languages, including C++ are avaible.

One of the books that really helped me with the basics of C++ was/is: Jumping into C++ by Alex Allain

I've uploaded it to the file hosting service:
