Title: Why do supermarkets and stores use wireless

Hello do anyone know what supermarkets and stores uses wireless for ? I apologize if this question has an obvious answer. But i cant think of one.

easy to track you. If you connect to a wirelless your phone will automatically search for the name if you don't have a internet connection. Means you automatically connect to their Wlan AP means they know when and how long your in the shop, with who and so on. If the have more than one AP they can even "track" your walk around in there. Big benefit for them, internet benefit for you.

lol, also sometimes big stores use handheld devices in the store, so if you search you might find AP and networks meant for these devices to use, not the public. (Personal experience working retail)
