Title: Cerial Boxes
Post by: Live Wire on November 04, 2011, 02:11:43 PM
You know the codes that come in the boxes on different foods, that you then enter online for a prize? What prevents people from bruteforcing these sites until it comes up with a wining number?

almost always u have to enter a name, and email address according to the number, and most of the times the number is only fancy, and they just have a lottery between the people who registered.

I'm going to have to find one that just has a serial number, then has you enter it online. Coke occasionally has these types of contests over here. Probably gonna have to leave off this experiment off till then :(
