God this is so old... I already have raised against MS monopoly, since the day I got the first computer with Pirated windows :D
I use ubuntu now. Yep. Probably should switch to Debian :|

And gentoo btw, you won't learn anymore on debian than you did with ubuntu.

Switching from ubuntu to debian is nothing, that is such a little step. I guess you would benefit much more from taking a little bigger step.
