I don't know whether to laugh or cry at how bad this movie looks. How do you think the movie is going to be?

Corny story and flashy effects. From the trailer it looks legit, at least it has some actual commands in the movie... but it looks like Swordfish and Die Hard 4 was slapped together and made into a movie.

Doesn't look like a regular corny movie. But probably is a one hacker who can instantly hack it all movie.

I agree with the swordfish / diehard analogy. That's what it looks like to me as well. Still going to go see it. What the hey . Maybe nmap will be in this feature film again for the 4th time, lol.

The best hacking movie I've seen is Hackers 2: Operation Takedown. I think it might go by a different name also, but it's about Kevin Mitnick. And I think it came out before he was convicted in court, there where protest and a shitstorm about the film.

Goes by track down and takedown. Other good hacking movies are antitrust, sneakers, wargames 1&2 and as corny as it may be hackers

Then there's the matrix trilogy of course

You guys should check out the movie algorithm it's a YouTube feature film I found the special effects to be quite real, and especially the narration.. The story was actually pretty cool it was about some guy on a quest to attack this particular network for some reason, although I forgot the reason. Check it out.

lol this looks like your typical hollywood bullshit, you have this one guy that is for some reason locked up then they offer him a way out and he's suddenly a guy trained in combat AND an expert programmer (so basically god ,lol) and he goes out to pwn this bad guy and save teeeh world.
