Though i would only buy it if it got a e-ink screen, that would be lovely for a notification system or something.

Post by: komanayzer! on December 13, 2014, 06:45:22 PM: I'm having a lot of problems with my Raspberry Pi, it's on ARMv6 so it's impossible to run any app, that's compiled on x86 or ..., I even tried cross compiling the binary, as it happens, i'm unable to install necessary tools to even run configure, make, make install.

So to sum up, if you don need it for running apps other, than already created (and found) in Pi store, don't waste money.

And tried to recompile it, but I have packets missing and cannot install them, I'managed to install some of them, but some just won't install. Then I gave up and tried to install ubuntu server but was unable to find installation for armv6 so that also went to hell.

You can try archlinux for rpi, there are much more packages (also more up to date) in there.

I never thought about making it into a tablet. Right now my Raspberry Pi is currently a RetroPie (SNES and Sega Genesis) kept in my room for all my nostalgic urges.
