I try to download a file from cgpeers half downloading the site went down. Same files avail in public trackers like "kicass" is it possible to resume the file using the public trackers ?!

Possible if the tracker has same peers, meaning same seeders with identical files.

Either update the trackers or go search manually for trackers that offer the same file.
In the last case manually edit in the correct tracker, update and restart the torrent.
If you are really scared to loose the downloaded material thus far I suggest you copy the existing dir.

No luck. Even btannouncer cant find any alternative tracker. Hope cgpeers will up in within days

If it's the same files, named the same way with the same hash then it wouldn't matter what the tracker is. You can either just download the torrent/magnet and it will add the trackers or you can manually add the trackers. However even if the tracker/site is down you should still be able to download if there are peers still seeding the file.
What's the exact file you're sharing and I'll see if I can find alternate trackers that index the file to bring in some fresh peers

Converting Cgpeers database tables, give it some time to finish. Also causes a forced redirect to half of forum users for some reason. Shall be over soon enough

Warning Reannouncing Private torrents may contradict the terms & conditions of the original tracker
That's a problem for me... All I use is private trackers, they don't like things like that and would get me banned. I'm pretty sure CGPeers feels the same way.
On another note, you wouldn't happen to have an invite to cgpeers? I'm on the forum but not the tracker ;)

Used to mess around with photography years ago, haven't in a while, haven't had the time. I still enjoy it though and I know my way around Photoshop

Try blender too if you have time
