Post by: Architect on June 10, 2014, 03:20:44 AM
Seriously, where can I find a copy of Windows XP; seems that I misplaced my USB key with all of the *.iso's and bootloaders on it. It really sucks and today I actually need XP and I can't fucking find it.

tl;dr someone give me an XP download location

Thank you both for your links, I'll check them out right now.
Mind you, these computers I am about to set up will never be connecting to the internet besides for activation or first updates.
Other than that, they'll all be air-gapped for testing only.

Google-fu is weak with this one. How can you not find a WinXP ISO?

I was looking for a trusted source which I'm sure I wouldn't find by Google'ing the most insecure Windows OS. By the way, half the first links on Google are to unsafe copies, I checked. But they'll never be connected to anything but my intranet anyways.

Worms can spread through intranets. MSDN sources are official MS releases. MyDigitalLife (MDL) is a reputable MS piracy source. Daz and other developers that make loaders that are widely accepted and clean originate on MDL. That's why I posted the MDL XP resource thread. Everything from legit unaltered ISOs to activation measures. Also one of the first few links from google. You can verify XP ISOs with MS as explained in the link I posted. Being a piracy whore I only use tried and true sources and that's what I share

I'm well aware of how malware spreads through intranet thus I took measures.
