Title: General knowledge base
Post by: petermlm on July 16, 2011, 04:58:19 PM
Hello.

I thought about creating a general knowledge base. A website with a database that would function with a system of tags. This database could have information about sites of interest about security and anti-security, news or just tutorials. Something else for the database would be articles about terms we usually use like DDoS attack, RFI, (among other of course). Also articles on tools like LOIC and tor, or programming languages, etc.

The reason to build this is to have all the information in a single place and with the system of tags I mention. This sistem would allow an easy searches in the database and save alot of time because we wouldn't have information spreeded across bookmarks, txt files and our own memory.

What do you think?

I agree. Now have that information, that is scatter across topic, and compile to a single service with tags (and easier backups, lol). Would it be a waste of time since that is already in the topics?
