Title: TAILS USB failed to boot. Why?

Hi everyone,

This may be a noob question but I still need the answer none-the-less. I tried to boot TAILS from my USB but when booted it read "USB failed to boot." I verified the .iso with their signature and Tried both manual and pendrive Linux installer but both to no avail. Can anyone stipulate as to why this is happening and more importantly tell me how to solve it?

Assuming you both:
gpg --verify-file <iso/path>
sha256sum <iso/path>

You should be good. Also make sure your USB is set to be booted from BIOS.
And furthermore, what are you using to create the live key?
Unetbootin never fails, neither does Daemon Tools.

Neither does dd. I've never liked Unetbootin, and it often fails for me. The dd command however, now that one is tried and true.
