I'm pretty pleased with it so far, I just wanted to know what the community thought about it. I paid 369.99 for it, with this includes a 130.00 instant instore rebate (already included in the price) and a 50.00 mail in rebate (not included). Anyways, here's the specs.

That's a good buy at that price. Good job finding it. I have never owned a TOSHIBA but haven't heard anything bad about them. I personally would have preferred a one terabyte hdd because I always like to have plenty of space but that's great for that price.

How very interesting. The owners of the company I work for just bought 2 of a very similar model. It was a Toshiba c55 a5100 (I think) has 6gb of ram, 750gb hd, used to have win8.1 until I got a hold of it, now runs 7 ultimate, core i3 Intel 4800 graphics. They got it as a bundle from bestbuy and came with a wireless Logitech mouse, 8gb pny usb drive, 3 license 6mo of Kaspersky internet security, and a targus laptop sleeve for $430 out the door. It's not a bad machine and I've owned a couple of Toshiba's, no complaints here.
*on a side note I happen to have an extra copy of that 3 license 6mo Kaspersky if anyone is interested, first come first serve just pm me, must be a known member on le forum. You can download the exe from the Kaspersky site and I'll give you the member id and activation code via pm.

Where did you get that number from?

He is talking GPU mem, but since the HD series are built right into the CPU that doesnt really matter.
It is ' shared ' anyway.
Btw those intel graphics are getting impressive, start to enter to realm of gaming etc.
Soon we will no longer distinquish between CPU and GPU.

Yess I have 64 dedicated as well and on some games it need a higher amount to play

The graphics could be improved, but other than that it's pretty nice for that price, nice find :)
