Title: What do you think about a Cryptography Board?

I wasn't sure where to put this, besides the "Request a Board" topic area where I wasn't able to start a new topic, but what do you guys think of starting a Cryptography board? Along with Cryptography, and all it's different forms, it could cover Cryptology, Cryptanalysis, ect. People could post Crypto related news and talk about the mathematics involved. I know we have a Anonymity board, which is great, but I think Cryptography deserves it's own. Idea's, comments, suggestions?

How exactly can you predict the frequency and population of a board that doesn't exist? I mean, maybe the people that are not interested in cryptography, might not post, but how can they ever come to like something that's unavailable to them, you know?

I've been a member for a long time and during that time I noticed trends and activity, also knowing how our community works, I can safely say just that. It's been done few times, trust me. A sudden appearance of a board will not suddenly make people post stuff there - that's my point.

Post by: bluechill on February 05, 2014, 05:44:52 PM: Yes and no. This has been discussed before by Xires and other admins. Basically it's a "wait and see" kind of approach. If we get enough feedback requesting one, we will try one out in Alpha/EZ 3.0
