Hi guys any of you know a software called "Keypress" and is similar to an irc client? Thanks in advance for the answers ;)
-
Here you go: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Keypress
Concerning IRC clients it all depends on what operating system you are running, mIRC is unquestionably the most popular Windows-based IRC client and there are a number of others for *nix like Xchat, Kvirc, etc etc. Look them up
-
mIRC is too popular. Skiddies always refer to IRC as MIRC, always have to explain the god damn difference.
Personally I use xChat - better than mIRC (fuck mIRC!), is a cross-plaform thing, besides other cool stunts it performs.
-
Thanks again for the answers, however, is an irc client especially because I have heard that only the hackers may have, by chance you heard about it?
-
If we're going to argue about the best IRC client, it's Irssi, hands down. Windows users probably won't understand.
XChat is defunct anyway, if you're going to use that go with its fork HexChat.

I can't make sense of this.
You're asking if IRC is only used by "hackers"? Answer is obviously NOT.
HexChat while is a free fork of xchat, it's kind of lame and buggy as it does not function properly and does not have some of awesome xchat features that I use so much.

There isn't a secret hacker irc client, someone's trolling you.
-
Sorry, I meant to say that it is not an irc client but a p2p program created by hackers and that is hard to find it around because it can not be in possession of all hackers, sorry for my English but I am Italian and use google translator :P
-
A P2P client not know by many back but afew hackers aint gonna get you anything new i can get with any other common client.
Chill out and don't be consumed by any religion around P2P clients.

Word. Irssi all damn day! OP I wouldn't recommend this for you however. It's not the most user-friendly client out there..
