Kevin Mitnick definitely.
He is a legend.


Of the more recent ones, Johnny Long from GHBD.
Very good person, founder of Google Hacking database, Hackers for Charity, and ihackcharities.org.

All white hats are white during the day and black at night...stuxnet,most sophisticated worm out there is maked by high skilled  security professionals(white hackers or gray,gay...whatever you wana call them

I refuse to answer this poll. This is all publicity hackers. Those are not the real deal. But if I am to answer the question between black and whitehats, I have no idea. Many whitehats have once been blackhats and visa versa. I am guessing hat color does not really matter.
